OMG
this is hilarious but also TRUE. I have PICTURES. These quotes are from
PAKISTANI'S living in or near Karachi.
For your info Pindo, gay sex is more common in all parts of Pakistan than any other type of sexual activity. ANY other PERIOD. True it is for Afghanistan as well.
I suggest you read a biography of Richard Burton (the knighted adventurer, not the actor). He was posted in Karachi in the 1850s and was asked to cover the gay brothels of the city. He wrote such an explicit account of the gay brothels that he was fired......
Later he proposed his theory of Sodatic Zone, a strip of land starting from the Western Mediterranean shoreline to the Punjab in the East, where predominantly folks are into buggery. Most of Pakistan comes under the Sodatic Zone.
Sex between men occurs in some very public places - including, surprisingly, Karachi's busiest shrine.
Families go to the Abdullah Shah-Ghazi shrine to honour the holy man buried there and to ask for God's blessings, but it is also Karachi's biggest cruising ground.
Every Thursday evening, as the sun sets, men from across the city gather there. A tightly packed circle is formed and those in the centre of the circle are groped by those on the periphery.
To outsiders it looks like a writhing mass of men huddling around one another. Some even describe it as a "mysterious religious ceremony". For participants, it's anonymous group sex.
Again, I have pictures of this...taken in Karachi in front of the shrine on a Thursday evening.
Kul yar in India its called masti..very popular in residential schools. A special kind is called g@ndmasti.

To be honest with you, I wasn't shocked about the gay sex scene in Karachi, I was shocked to know that there was a gay sex orgy happening at Abdullah Shah Ghazi's shrine every Thursday....(there is I have seen it).
Thousands of people flock to the shrine, I've seen it myself....
Hard to believe something like this happening under people's noses... Or maybe I'm naive to the happenings at Sufi shrines
Scout: Why in hell would you find that hard to believe when YOU know like everyone else how prevalent same-sex is in Pakistan
Pederasty was integral to sufism. Rumi himself was a well-known pederast and if I understand so was Hazrat Nizamuddin.
THIS IS HYSTERICAL: & TRUE...
No, not at all. I am sure it happens. But it seems you disapprove. Why?
If they are using protection and there is no coercion involved, shud be kosher.
I'm sure they all whip out their condoms and dental dams since Pakistanis are an evolved segment of the human race
(OUCH...lol)
Well, some NGO can set up a kiosk there.....
Yes, ngo's in Pakistan have nothing better to do but to set up a kiosk at the shrine on Thursdays, with pamphlets on stds and a basket of condoms
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your positivity
Scout, your 'concern' about public health is not going to stop gay sex in Pakistan,, condoms may stop the spread of std's.
Kulharee, stop being doltish,I think public group sex should be discouraged,
Too many variables at play, its not about gay sex
'discouraged'??? How? You mean in sex Ed class there should be a course on group sex? This 'discourage' brigade is what is keeping Pakistan in the 6th century Mindset.
Let everyone live the life they want so long as they are not harming anyone else.
The article reminds me of the Stallion-Treetop relationship.......
Kulharee, I agree with you but not when it comes to group sex in public, especially in a place like Pakistan, there could be kids in the mix, not to mention the spread of diseases.... it's not a very well regulated justice system.

Scout, this is not something new, and this has gone on for hundred of years. Gay sex is very common on Sufi shrines. Most Sufias (Madhu Lal, etc.) were openly gay and proudly displayed their boy lovers (it is well documented). The second reason why I think it will be a bad idea to stop it will only make it appear someplace else. We all know what happened to prostitution when Zia closed down Hira Mandi - it spread in every posh location of Lahore (and made it more freely available but prices also went up). It is much better to have such stuff be tolerated in few places and help the community in the way of distributing condoms and other stuff for sanitary experience. There is nothing wrong with consensual orgy and group sex. It is fun.
For a lot of Westerners who have never been to nor know much about, this is a stunner I am sure. But it IS well documented.
I have said hundreds of times. Pakistan IS a PATRIARCHAL country. as is Afghanistan and BOTH are predominately Pashto Arabs.
Some idiots wil try to defend ANTI-LGBT rhetoric by citing Islam but the MUSLIM CLERICS were have been and ARE some of THE MOST OPENLY GAY members of society in BOTH countries and as much as some would try to dispute that it is impossible. There is TOO MUCH PUBLIC INFO on the subject to be able to with a straight face.
PAKISTAN is one of if not THE most GAY country on earth. Some will choke but it way to easy to GOOGLE this stuff so shut up.
LOL

I
can attest to the denials. My own husband tried all over the place to say this
stuff wasn't true. But it is ALL OVER the Internet and with
pictures.
Hard
to deny that, although he tries. Course with him, It isn't about gay. It's about
being a MAN. A MATURE ONE. But even funnier is that he has brothers who
are.
HAHAHA..
Oh how he tried to keep THAT from me. But they approached me...and one is very
open.
I
won't clarify that more. LOL...let's just say...yeh. I know.
HE
isn't.
